I’m currently a postdoctoral fellow at University of Missouri – Columbia in statistics working with Scott Holan and Chris Wikle.

I completed a joint PhD in statistics and economics at Iowa State University under Jarad Niemi and Gray Calhoun in summer 2015.

I’m broadly interested in Bayesian inference and decision theory, game theory, and economics, though my research focuses on Bayesian statistics and applications to economics. I also write things occasionally on my blog and with some friends at our group blog, Carcinisation. I play Magic: the Gathering in my spare time and have even competed on the pro tour. I also like to watch baseball, occasionally hike and fish, and I wish that I had played paintball more than zero times over the last few years.
