I’m currently a postdoctoral fellow at University of Missouri in statistics working with Scott Holan and Chris Wikle.

I completed a joint PhD in statistics and economics at Iowa State University under Jarad Niemi and Gray Calhoun in summer 2015.

I’m broadly interested in Bayesian inference and decision theory, game theory, and economics, though my research focuses on Bayesian statistics and often applications to official statistics. I also write things occasionally on my blog. I play Magic: the Gathering in my spare time and have even competed on the pro tour. I also like to watch baseball, occasionally hike and fish, and I wish that I had played paintball more than zero times over the last few years.
